CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the cannabis plant. It is a naturally occurring substance that is used in products such as flowers, oils or foods and that can provide a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it is not psychoactive. European law allows the sale of CBD products that contain less than 1% THC in some countries, such as the Czech Republic.
