How to choose the best CBD oil?

CBD oils have become a recent phenomenon. And no wonder. Their excellent effects are rightly celebrated by the whole world. There is a wide range of products on the market, so it is often difficult to choose the one that would suit you. Come with us on a journey to choose the ideal CBD oil and at the same time discover all the benefits that these products offer.
CBD as the main active ingredient in oils
CBD or cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive substance contained in technical cannabis, which, thanks to its beneficial effects, has found favor with many proponents of natural products as part of natural therapy.
This is a close relative of the more well-known THC, which you can find in marijuana. These two substances, although related, act in a completely different way in the body. Psychoactive THC is thus responsible for the condition of so-called rauche or intoxication, CBD excels especially in therapeutic effects on human health, which are constantly subjected to many studies.
It supports the nervous system, immunity and quality sleep
The essence of the action of cannabidiols in our body is their interaction with the so-called endocannabinoid system (ECS). It is a network of receptors that are distributed throughout the body (especially in the central nervous system and also peripheral organs). After binding of a certain type of cannabidiols to an adequate receptor, a specific type of reaction will occur - eg affecting mood, memory, motor functions, the immune system or sleep. So what are the most significant effects of CBD?
- It contributes to healthy sleep and helps against insomnia
- It affects the functioning of the immune system
- Helps maintain normal mental activity during mental strain and stress
- It supports the activity of the cardiovascular system
- Supports proper digestion
- Helps maintain good body condition
Broad spectrum vs. full spectrum CBD oil
All our oils are labeled "full spectrum", which means that in addition to non-psychoactive CBD and other cannabidiols in their composition, you will also find THC in an amount that complies with the legislation (less than 0.3%). Many studies suggest that it is the combined action of the whole spectrum of these substances that is much more effective in promoting health than when these substances act alone.
So what to look out for when choosing a CBD oil?
1) Quality input raw material is the basis
The special types of technical hemp used to produce CBD oils contain the desired high concentrations of CBD and low concentrations of THC. However, the place where the plants are grown is especially important. It is typical for cannabis that it easily absorbs everything that is present in the soil. Therefore, if the plant is grown on quality soil, the CBD content is also very good.
2) It depends on the method of production
The method of processing cannabis and obtaining CBD is another important indicator, for which, unfortunately, there are no legislative rules. You can usually encounter 3 types of processing.
The lowest quality CBD oils (usually those at a disproportionately low cost) are often produced using toxic solvents such as propane, hexane or pentane. These products are definitely best avoided because they are definitely not good for health.
Another option is to use pharmaceutical grade ethanol to extract CBD. This method is considered safe and high quality and can be found in many products.
The method of supercritical extraction using CO2 is considered to be by far the best method that guarantees the high quality of the final product (in terms of taste and microbial purity) without the use of harmful substances and high temperatures. This is the most modern, but also the most expensive processing method that all our CBD oils are proud of.
3) Carrier medium as another important indicator
After extraction, CBD is further dissolved in the so-called carrier oil. Again, each manufacturer uses a different type of oil - most often you can find MCT oil (coconut oil), linseed or hemp oil. Hemp oil, which you will find in our CBD oils, is, in contrast to commonly used oils, more advantageous in its composition, which is enriched with other beneficial accompanying substances.
4) The right concentration - choose 5% or rather 20%?
You can find CBD oils on the market in various concentrations, ranging from 2.5% to 30% CBD. As for the choice of concentration, it is very individual. The best option is to try for yourself what will suit you best. It is generally recommended to start with a lower concentration and then gradually increase it.
- 5% CBD oil is a great choice for the fairer sex, children, but also four-legged pets
- 10% CBD oil is great for anyone who has ever tried CBD products and want to know the effects of higher concentrations of CBD
- 20% CBD oil is the ultimate solution for demanding people who need a good dose of CBD due to sports or health problems
We firmly believe that we have helped you choose the ideal CBD oil that best meets your expectations. Also keep in mind that the changes are unlikely to take effect immediately, so you need to include oil as a long-term part of your daily routine. However, you can be sure that the positive effects are guaranteed to come sooner or later.
